Denise Meeks

Denise was an Astronomy, Physics, and Math professor for 25 years in Tucson, Arizona. She has a bachelors in Astronomy & Physics (U of AZ, 1981), a masters in Systems Engineering (U of AZ, 1989), a doctorate in curriculum & instruction (NAU, 1997), a second masters in Geosciences (MS State, 2006), and a third masters in Space Studies (UND, 2014). Denise and her husband, Dr. Robert Meeks, who is currently managing a multimillion dollar project for Keck Observatory, reside in Captain Cook, Big Island of Hawai'i with their cat Adra and dog Cosmo. Denise is the volunteer science teacher at a local elementary school and a volunteer swim coach.
