Joshua Harris
Joshua Harris is a first year graduate student in the Department of Space Studies pursuing a Master's Degree with a discipline in Space Engineering and Planetary Science. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Metropolitan State University of Denver, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Energy Management along with an Associates of Applied Science in Process Plant Technology from Bismarck State College. He also holds a certification in Additive Manufacturing Engineering and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Joshua currently works for Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company as a Product Protection Engineer in Denver, Colorado. His professional role provides engineering support for various programs in the Space Systems manufacturing sector. Joshua is the primary resource for CAD support for the Product Protection Engineering Department and also performs testing and analysis for vibration & shock to ensure hardware safety both on and off the ground. Joshua is pursuing a degree in Space Studies to develop his skills and understanding in Planetary Science and its relationship to engineering and the overall development of spacecraft for exploration. He is passionate about space and the advancement of space for our current and future generations. He is a member of the Planetary Society, ASME, SGAC, AIAA, CSE and is constantly seeking ways to develop both personally and professionally.
