Ashley Nelson
Ashley is a Systems Engineer performing system-level requirements and verification for the Boeing CST-100 Starliner. Prior to the Starliner, she performed subsystem-level requirements and verification for the ECLS subsystem on Lockheed Martin's Orion. She has also done avionics testing on the Link16 system of Lockheed Martin's F-16, FA-50, and T-50A. Ashley received a BS in Electrical Engineering and BA in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin in 2010. She also has an MS in Systems Engineering and MS in Engineering Management from Southern Methodist University in 2013 and 2015, respectively. Ashley is currently enrolled in the Space Studies master's program and intends on pursuing a PhD in Aerospace Science. Ashley is currently a member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, International Council on Systems Engineering, and American Society for Engineering Management.
