Daniel Schmick
Daniel is currently a flight engineer instructor aboard H-47 model helicopters for The Boeing Company in Philadelphia, PA. As such, he regularly operates various models of the H-47 for diverse customers, both domestic and foreign. Daniel finished his undergraduate degree at the University of Delaware with a BA in physics in 2012. Currently, he is working toward a MS in space studies at the University of North Dakota. After finishing high school in Halifax, PA Daniel joined the US Army as a CH-47D Chinook helicopter mechanic and subsequently became a CH-47 flight engineer instructor before being honorably discharged in 2006. Daniel is also an active member of the Philadelphia chapter of the Boeing Employee's Flying Association (BEFA) where he earned his private pilot license and is currently pursuing an instrument rating. Daniel currently serves on the BEFA board of directors as the association's Operations Officer.
